Gina Rouse is one of my closest friends. She was one of the people I brainstormed The Mother Runners with before bringing it to reality!
She is a mom of three girls, elite master’s runner, and Olympic Trials Qualifier for the marathon in 2020.
She’s been through a lot of disappointment and heartache to try to qualify for the OT in 2024 with the new standard of 2:37:00. In her last attempt at the California International Marathon, on the last day to qualify, she missed the qualifying time by TEN SECONDS.
Gina shares what that was like and how she is using that to fuel her fire to keep getting after it!
